Airtight Vapour Control Layers (AVCL)

The 4m x 50m Vapour Barrier Roll, with 125mu thickness, is ideal for blocking moisture in walls, floors and roofs, delivering up to 200m2 coverage. Coming in a neutral green, it's crafted in the UK from recyclable polyethylene and meets EN 13984 standards. Perfect for construction and renovation, it works across various applications.

vapour resistance and low emissivity reflective surface. 
Significantly boosts thermal performance when used with a 
services void/batten space. Suitable for use in SFS, timber, CLT 
and masonry wall systems, pitched and flat roofs.
Chlorine resistant.

Strong AVCL for optimal airtightness in roofs, walls and floors.

A dedicated air barrier with 100% airtightness and low vapour resistance, which allows rapid drying-out of damp wall elements. Primary function is to improve energy-efficiency by reducing convective heat losses through a roof, wall or floor element.

Thermal Airtight Vapour Barrier 1.5 x 50m

Airtight Vapour Control Layer for use within the internal lining of roof, ceiling
 and wall systems. 

An airtight vapour control layer (AVCL) with Class A2 fire 
performance and very high vapour resistance. This internal 
membrane has a low emissivity reflective surface, which 
boosts thermal performance when used with a services void/
batten space. Satisfies the fire regulations for use in external 
walls but may also be used as an AVCL in pitched and flat 
roofs. Suitable for buildings of any humidity classification, 
residential or commercial and from single-storey to hi-rise.

• Class A2, Fire Retardant
• System Classification: DuPont™  AirGuard®   A2 FR AVCL with DuPont™  AirGuard®  FR System tape (1310FR)
• Thermal benefit: low emissivity/reflective surface
• Tested and classified for free-span, on mineral wool slab, gypsum plasterboard or fibre cement board
• Suitable for all building types, heights and proximities
