This 15mm Acoustic Plasterboard with a 'F' Tapered Edge (2400mm x 1200mm) offers superior sound insulation for homes, offices, and cinemas. Crafted from a high-density aerated gypsum core and encased in sturdy blue paper liners, its unique manufacturing process maximises acoustic properties. Compliant with EN 520 - Type D standards, it also offers thermal resistance. Not suitable for damp or humid conditions, it's ideal for immediate plastering and decorating post-installation.

Product Description

This 15mm Acoustic Plasterboard with a 'F' Tapered Edge, measuring 2400mm x 1200mm, is an ideal solution for sound insulation in various environments such as offices, homes, or cinema halls. Crafted with a high-density aerated gypsum core, this product boasts superior soundproofing capabilities. Encased in firm, strong blue paper liners, it is made through a unique process to maximise its acoustic properties. Only available with a tapered edge design, this product complies with EN 520 - Type D standards. It has a thermal conductivity of 0.25W/mK, making it a thermal-resistant choice as well. Note that it is not suitable for areas with ongoing damp or humid conditions and should not be used to isolate dampness. Upon installation, it can promptly be plastered with finishes such as Thistle Board or Thistle Multi-Finish. However, it is advisable to avoid delays between installation and decoration. Please consider quick commencement of decorator's preparatory work post plastering.
