This eco-friendly Insulated Plasterboard, 40mm thick with 2400mm x 1200mm dimensions, features a robust, CFC & HCFC-free extruded polystyrene insulant. Designed with a high-performance insulant backing and a vapour control layer to minimize condensation risk, the board offers superior thermal conductivity and a low global warming potential. The product is ready for decoration upon quick drying after joint treatment. It complies with rigorous quality standards including BS 476, BS EN 13501-1, EN 13950: 2014, and BES 6001.

Product Description

This 40mm thick Insulated Plasterboard, measuring 2400mm x 1200mm, is a high-quality product factory-bonded with a robust extruded polystyrene insulant-free from both CFC & HCFC. It is designed with enhanced features, including a high-performing insulant backing and an integrated vapour control layer to reduce condensation risk. The 9.5mm plasterboard is faced with an ivory-toned surface and backed with orange coloured extruded polystyrene. It displays superior thermal conductivity with readings of 0.19W/mK and 0.033W/mK for the plasterboard and extruded polystyrene, respectively. The product has zero ozone depletion potential and less than five global warming potentials, rendering it eco-friendly. Featuring a closed cell structure, it requires minimal delay after joint treatment dries for decoration. The plasterboard complies with BS 476 (Part 6 & Part 7), BS EN 13501-1 & EN 13950: 2014, and is certified to BES 6001.
