Product Description

The Pro Torch Cap Black Bituminous Felt is a high-performance torch-on cap sheet with an 8m length that integrates a unique fire retardant coating for enhanced safety. This robust membrane is known for its durability and versatility, thereby making it an ideal choice for the regular use by roofing professionals. Comprising a polyester base, the product utilises a specially blended SBS modified bitumen coating optimised for fast flow properties. Its rapid melting backing and selvedge films further boost its torching speed capabilities. It can be used as the cap sheet on suitable pour and roll or torch-on underlays as part of a built-up system, or as a refurbishment overlay to current asphalt or chosen mineral surface felt. With thorough testing under ENV1187, it is classified as BROOF(t4) in accordance with BS EN 13501-5: 2005 fire classification of construction products and building elements, courtesy of its effective fire wall technology laden with self-extinguishing features.
