The Dewalt DCH172 18V XR Ultra Compact SDS+ Rotary Hammer Drill
that is not only small, but disguises an incredibly powerful tool.
This is the smallest and also the lightest cordless rotary hammer drill from Dewalt. Weighing only 2.1kg (with a 2ah battery pack), this is 32% lighter than the previous model resulting in a tool that is comfortable to carry, as well as being able to use for longer periods of time.
The class leading Impact Energy motor results in a faster drilling time than many competitors. This reduces the time need to complete your job. But by doing so, it doesn’t increase the feel of vibration. On the contrary, there is noticeably low operational vibration (8.8m/s²) – this means you can use this for longer without the worry of strain. The Drill has been designed to, not only a durable and robust design, but to outperform many competitors on the market or in the workspace.
The 2 mode operation allows for either Rotary Hammer or Rotary Only modes. There is also a convenient tether point to attach a lanyard to keep it secure when you’re working at height. In short, the DCH172 optimises performance and run time in a lightweight, compact form.
