This Multipurpose Putty Brown, generously sized at 2kg, comes enriched with top-grade linseed oil. Expertly designed for glazing single glass onto different materials, such as metal, softwood and hardwood window frames, it also features an additional plasticiser to boost adhesion and minimise cracking. With an extended shelf life and ease of application, this putty is superior to many alternatives. However, it's unsuitable for plastic frames, heat-absorbing glass, double glazing, or frames treated with decorative microporous stains. Prior to application, it is essential to thoroughly mix to blend any surface oil, and avoid overpainting until a surface skin has formed, which may take between 7 and 30 days.
