This 2kg Multipurpose Putty provides strong glazing bonding with metal and wood window frames, enhanced with quality linseed oil and a plasticiser to prevent cracks. Exceptional for its easy application and great shelf life, however, avoid use on plastic frames, heat-absorbing glass, and double-glazed windows. Mix thoroughly before application and refrain from overpainting until a surface skin forms.

Product Description

This 2kg Multipurpose Putty is ideally designed for your glazing needs. Made with top-quality linseed oil, it ensures sturdy bonding of single glass into metal, softwood, and hardwood window frames. With an added plasticiser, the putty not only promises to improve adhesion but also aids in preventing cracks. The long shelf life coupled with the ease of application sets it apart from competitors. However, it's recommended not to use the putty on plastic frames, heat-absorbing glass, double glazed windows, or frames treated with decorative microporous stains. Also, remember to thoroughly mix the pack contents to blend the surface oil and avoid overpainting until a surface skin forms, which may take between 7 to 30 days.
