The cavity closers can also be used in sill details, and you can simply cut the length to fit the width of your window and position them into the cavity at the sill. In horizontal applications, a DPC is still recommended.

This box of six Manthorpe G240-150 Cavity Closers features a double flange, suitable for use in standard in-line cavity wall details. The cavity closers can also be used in sill details, and you can simply cut the length to fit the width of your window and position them into the cavity at the sill. In horizontal applications, a DPC is still recommended. Straightforward to install without the need for special tools, these lightweight closers can be easily cut with a saw without any loss of thermal efficiency. With some specific products, PVC flanges offer a secure method of fixing.
