Loose laid polyethylene gas membrane for low risk hazardous ground gas sites. Building Regulations require that proper precautions be taken to prevent danger to health and safety when building on contaminated land. Gas Membrane DPM offers a safe solution for the protection of buildings against radon, carbon dioxide and low levels of methane when installed in accordance with the relevant codes of practice. Gas Membrane DPM is a robust polyethylene membrane; for ease of identification on site the membrane is coloured orange, supplied in 2m x 25m lengths. Flexible and easy to install, the product also acts as a damp proof membrane. • Low permeability to radon, carbon dioxide and low levels of methane • Suitable for projects assessed under NHBC and CIRIA C665 • Unsuitable for projects assessed under BS8485:2015 • Joints can be tape bonded or hot air welded • Convenient centre folded rolls • CE marked to EN 13967:2012

Product Description

Building regulations mandate the utilization of Damp Proof Membranes (DPMs) positioned either above or below solid concrete floor slabs in contact with the ground.
